All new products purchased on cargoran.com and shipped to an address within Italian territory are covered by the Italian legal warranty of 2 Years for lack of conformity. All new products purchased on cargoran.com by companies with a VAT number, or shipped to an address abroad (including the Republic of San Marino, the Principality of Monaco, and Vatican City State) are covered by the legal warranty of 1 Year for lack of conformity.

 

PRODUCT RECEIVED DEFECTIVE OR WITH MISSING PARTS

The Product, if received defective or missing any of its parts or added accessories, may be claimed within 8 calendar days from the date on which the product was received by the customer.

 

CARGORAN OBLIGATIONS

During the warranty coverage period for new products, Daken S.p.A. undertakes to restore the functionality of products found to be defective on a test bench due to Lack of Conformity, therefore where the defect is attributable to manufacturing defects and not to improper use by the purchaser. For example:

- Failure to comply with Assembly and Usage instructions

- Negligence or Improper Use

- Any form of Tampering or Testing

- Tampering with or absence of the Product serial code

The occurrence of any of the 4 elements described above voids the Warranty.

 

HOW TO BENEFIT FROM THE WARRANTY?

To benefit from the Warranty, it is always necessary to send a support request to info@cargoran.com, specifying the order number and necessarily attaching:

  • Proof of Purchase or Invoice
  • Photographic/video documentation of the product defect
  • Proof of the product delivery date (tracking screenshot, delivery confirmation email from the courier).

 

In the event of a Warranty intervention by Daken S.p.A., this may take place through:

  • Shipment of a spare part from Cargoran to the customer
  • Full replacement of the product by Cargoran

 

In the event of product replacement, only and exclusively after explicit authorization received by email from Daken S.p.A., the customer may proceed with returning the defective product, sending it at their own expense to our Headquarters, using the address specified below:

Once the product has been received, Daken S.p.A. will proceed with the replacement and shipment to the customer free of charge.

 

IS MY PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY?

To find out whether the product is still under warranty, check the delivery date of the tracking code shown in the order details.

 

During the warranty period, Daken S.p.A. will repair or replace the defective item or components of the item. Under no circumstances will it be possible to request warranty service for products not included in your order, for example for other people’s orders or products not included in your order. The replacement component will be covered for the remaining warranty period of the product included in the original purchase. Daken S.p.A. will restore the defective material to working order, deciding at its own discretion whether to repair it, replace it with the same new or used item, or replace the product with one at least equivalent in performance, new or used. Daken S.p.A. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to opt for a refund of the purchase price instead of replacing the product and rescinding the purchase contract.

 

THE RETURN / WARRANTY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF:

The return of the product will not be accepted under any circumstances and therefore the warranty does not apply if: the warranty period has expired; if it is impossible to associate the defective product with a specific order on our site; if warranty is requested for a product not included in your order; if, following technical verification, the damage is found to have been caused by improper installation or use; if, following technical verification, the damage is found to have been caused by modifications, repairs, or tampering carried out by the customer or by third parties; if, following technical verification, the product is found to have been damaged due to negligence or careless use, or due to failure to comply with installation rules; if the product returned to Daken S.p.A. reaches it in packaging unsuitable to protect the goods during transport; in all cases where the damage cannot be traced back to defects in production, manufacturing, or storage of the product. Products deemed defective by the purchaser, but found to be correctly functioning following technical verification, are returned to the purchaser with transport costs charged to them.

Photographic/video documentation demonstrating the functioning of the product on a test bench will always be provided. In the event of returns that are actually defective and covered by Warranty, Daken S.p.A. will resend the replacement product at its own expense and responsibility.
